Trailer of Short Film Competition
This 3d animation is the trailer movie for the short film competition run by the TH Mittelhessen, University of Applied Sciences. More information about the competition can be found (in German language) at the competition website. The animation shows the Antikythera mechanism, the oldest known mechanical computer (~100 BC) found in an ancient ship wreck in the Mediteranian in 1900. A reconstruction of the mechanism is located at the Astronomisch-Physikalisches-Kabinett in Kassel.
