Ibiza & Bridges – Part 2

This is the second location used for a private IBL (Image Based Lighting) and Autodesk Maya project dealing with car renderings called Ibiza & Bridges. Werksbrücke West in Kelsterbach is a bridge only about 200m away from location number one (Sindlinger Mainbrücke). It is a private Road and Railroad bridge of the Industriepark Höchst near Frankfurt. Nowadays closed for public traffic it is accessible for pedestrians and ciclists only.

The backplate for this shot was also taken with the 8 mm Walimax fish eye lens just a few centimeters above the ground. Measured parameters such as the distance to the IBL location were tranfered to Maya and slightly tweaked to fit the photography.

A second light source was necessary to slightly increase the shadow of the car. In addition to the IBL light dome a directional light was used shining from the right side of the scenery.
